| Q1.
Why do you use the slogan "No parent left behind"? |
| Answer 1- The aim of MySchoolInfo is to use current technology to involve parents in the school activities of their children in "real
time." We say "real
time" because parents will no longer need to wait for
report cards or parent teacher nights. MySchoolInfo was designed to empower
parents to be kept up to date and to communicate events, homework assignments, attendance, academics and even the calories their children consume in the school cafateria.
All of this is done in a way that is easy, convenient and fits individual schedules.
In that way, we truly believe that no parent is left behind.

| Q2.
What is the key for the success of this concept? |
|
|
Answer 2
We believe that as
parents register to receive more real time notifications, fewer parents will be
“left behind.” This is how we gauge our success. That is the reason we
provide a
free mail server account for every parent so that they
can establish a closer connection
with their students’ curricular and extra-curricular life. If parents do not choose
to use our account, they can register any e-mail account they wish.

| Q3.
Our school already have website, why should we consider using your website? |
| Answer 3- Many schools have well made and informative websites. What makes MySchoolInfo different is that it is a database driven site. This means that, depending on privilege, all users can post information.
MySchoolInfo can post
grades, run a newsletter, calculate and publish optimal bus routes, have an
automated notification system, and many other useful database
driven features. These rich and dynamic features could not be possible on traditional websites
which rely on one or more individuals, with full access, to post read-only information.

| Q4.
Since your site is database driven, how secure it is? |
| Answer 4- At MySchoolInfo we take
the security of our users’ information very seriously. In terms of
hardware, we’ve
installed the latest server technologies for redundant data security. Redundancy
insures that no single point of failure can result in loss of information. In terms
of software, every database is protected by encrypted firewalls. In addition, our
servers employ “Cluster Technology Architecture” in which CPU power and hard drive
capacities are
shared and balanced across our server farm. This is done in order
to provide each user the fastest and best experience possible. This level of security
is typically outside the budget of most schools to buy and maintain, however, we
absorb this cost for all users because we believe in the concept of making information
safe and accessible. As always, we will never sell your e-mail address or private
information to any third party. Please read our Privacy Policy |

| Q5.
We are confident that you are doing the utmost to protect the database, but can
we also have our own backup? |
| Answer 5- By all means. Each
school is provided
a backup menu that securely downloads all available data from our servers to your
local PC. This feature can also be set to perform an automatic backup at a predefined
time interval or when major changes occur. |
| |
| Q6.
How complicated is to get started? |
| Answer 6- We designed MySchoolInfo
from the ground up with ease of use in mind. This includes making every new registration
as easy as possible. Upon school registration, the program generates a spreadsheet
tailored to your school for easy input. The spreadsheet has three screens: ‘Students,”
‘Teachers,” and “Courses” When this spreadsheet is completed, it can be uploaded
automatically to our servers and the program starts from there. If there are any
problems, simply send your spreadsheet by email to our “Upload Center” and the input
will be done by our staff, free of charge.
|
| |
| Q7. How much do you
charge for all of these? |
| Answer 7- There is no charge
at all to the users
of MySchoolInfo, ever. We view our project as a public service.
In the future, our costs will be covered by limited
banner ads. We will never post
advertisements considered abrasive or offensive. We believe that the content of
MySchoolInfo should always be relevant, informative and helpful.
This belief extends to advertisement.
